UPDATE 2.15PM: Motorists caught up in a shocking crash in the Toowoomba CBD have escaped without serious injuries.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said two people had been assessed by paramedics at the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the corner of Margaret and Victoria Sts outside Grand Central.
The spokeswoman said one person declined transport to hospital while another told paramedics at the scene they would see a GP.
Toowoomba police said the motorists were lucky to escape without serious injuries in the incident which left one vehicle on its roof and westbound lanes of Margaret St blocked.
Police said one vehicle had attempted a U-turn, cutting off another vehicle when they collided.
The force of the collision left one of the vehicles on its roof.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
EARLIER: Two people are being assessed after a car rollover in the Toowoomba CBD outside Grand Central Shopping Centre.
Emergency services were called to the corner of Margaret and Victoria Sts about 10.05am with reports a vehicle had rolled.
A silver sedan appears to have overturned and is resting on its roof.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews are at the scene and the westbound lanes of Margaret St outside the Grand Central food court are closed.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said two people were being assessed at the scene.
